Every day silent contributions are made. Good deeds done not for accolades, or recognition, but because one is willing and capable. These noble acts are imperceptible to the naked eye. They are not reflected in skin color, size, beauty or clothing labels. Our character, who we are intrinsically, can’t be surmised in an appraising glance. Yet rash and brutal judgement is made daily on stigmas we don’t even question. Bats are vital to our existence performing crucial ecological roles throughout most of the world. Bats deserve our respect.
