bronze burros
My admiration with the burro began in Malinalco, Mexico. Just after sunrise, the surrounding hillside comes to life with Malinalco’s version of morning traffic. Nearly invisible footpaths, winding down the hills, lead the hillside traders and their burros to the road to town. As in the years past these packed backs are brimming with sales upon which lives depend. These burros lighten the load, as they have done for thousand of years, assisting those who can afford no other means of transport. Entire civilizations have been built upon their strong backs. Despite their small appearance, these animals possess a massive strength that is vital to daily life in many underdeveloped countries.
