I like to approach these figures from all angles, sculpting them both as animals and anthropomorphically. My intention has always been to focus on what makes us similar to the creatures of the world instead of different. In this Age of Covid & Climate Crisis, what is being so vividly demonstrated to all of us is that the more we are alienated from nature, the more trouble we get in.
